The Graduate Diploma in Nursing (GDN in short), is aimed at Registered Nurses who have a Diploma of Nursing Qualification and wish to gain a Postgraduate qualification. On successfully completing this study program, GDN degree holders can get up to one-year credit towards undertaking a Master of Nursing. What are the prerequisites for admission to the GDN?

This course is open to nurses who are registered as RNs, either in Australia or another country.

Nested course: the Graduate Certificate in Nursing

Students who are unable to complete the course can choose to exit midway, and get a Graduate Certificate in Nursing (GCN). On completing the GCN, they could be eligible for advanced standing for further studies.
