ASU’s collaboration with IHM provides a future- focused, employment-driven education that prepares students to be notable professionals with a positive impact on the world

The Institute of Health and Management (IHM) in Australia has established an intriguing new venture, the School of American Education (SAE), to provide pathway programmes leading to master’s degrees at Arizona State University (ASU) in the United States. This effort is to equip students with a worldwide recognised education in health, engineering, and management, preparing them for dynamic careers in today’s quickly changing labour market.

A Strategic Partnership with Arizona State University
SAE’s collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), ranked as the most innovative university in the United States by the U.S. News & World Report (2025), ensures a cutting-edge educational experience. SAE prepares students for success in a variety of fields by combining multidisciplinary coursework and global exposure.

This programme begins students’ academic experience at IHM, where they complete six months of online education before moving on to ASU for one year of on-campus study. In just 1 to 1.5 years, students earn both a certificate from IHM and a master’s degree from ASU. The program also provides an opportunity for eligible graduates to work legally in the U.S. for up to three years through the Optional Practical Training (OPT) extension.

Academic Excellence and Research Leadership
SAE is committed to promoting academic achievement by connecting students to exceptional professors from both IHM and ASU. IHM’s faculty specialises in digital innovation, technology management, healthcare, and business management, ensuring that students are well-prepared for today’s competitive industries. When students move to ASU, they collaborate with world-class professors recognised for their research expertise, industry connections, and groundbreaking inventions.

This unique blend of Australian and American education not only enhances students’ academic credentials but also expands their global career opportunities. SAE also promotes research collaborations between Australia and the United States, thereby advancing healthcare management and educational methodologies.

Global Citizenship and Industry Partnerships
SAE promotes international perspectives and cross-cultural understanding, allowing students to thrive in diverse professional environments. By leveraging industry partnerships with healthcare organisations and government bodies, SAE ensures that students gain real-world insights and hands-on learning experiences, bridging the gap between academics and industry needs.

Why Choose SAE?
By enrolling in SAE, students benefit from:

  • A prestigious U.S.-based education in health, management, and engineering.
  • Personalized mentorship and expert faculty guidance from both IHM and ASU.
  • A streamlined pathway to earning a master’s degree from ASU in just 1 to 1.5 years.
  • Post-graduate work opportunities in the U.S. for up to three years through STEM-OPT.
  • A global perspective and hands-on experience, preparing them for leadership roles in healthcare, business, and technology.

Arizona State University (ASU): A Global Leader in Innovation
As the #1 Most Innovative University in the United States, ASU is noted for its innovative teaching methods, cutting-edge research facilities, and strong industry links. ASU’s collaboration with IHM provides a future-focused, employment-driven education that prepares students to be notable professionals with a positive impact on the world.
